Candida Albicans

Candida Albicans cells stained with dye K6-208. Excitation wavelength 470 nm

Saccharomyces Cerevisiae (yeast) cells

Saccharomyces cerevisiae cells stained with dye Square-460 (K8-3010). Cell walls are bright green. Necrotic cells with disrupted cell walls have bright green fluorescence from cell interior. Excitation wavelength 470 nm Saccharomyces cerevisiae cells stained with dye Square-635 (K8-1257). Nuclei do not fluorescence, cytoplasm is red, active mitochondria are yellowish-red. Excitation wavelength 580 nm
Saccharomyces cerevisiae cells stained with Alexa 647 (NHS ester) and Square-635-di-NHS before and after 5 min of observation with an Olympus IX-71 fluorescent microscope. A 50% gray filter and a Cy5 ex/em filter set were used
