05/10/07 — Fluorescent images were added.
01/30/07 — SETA now offers a new reactive, pH-sensitive label Square-650-NH-mono-NHS with a pKa around 7.0 for cell-based applications. This label is in particular suited for receptor mediated cytosis studies and absorbs and emits in the red region.
01/08/07 — Square-470-mono-NHS, a water-soluble, amine-reactive label excitable with a 330, 436, or 470-nm diode laser was added.
10/25/06 — Seta-635-NH-mono-NHS, an extremely bright, mono-reactive NHS-ester was added to our product portfolio.
10/17/06 — Seta-640-NH-mono-Maleimide is a new fluorescent maleimide derivative for covalent reaction with thiol-groups.
09/06/06 — SeTau-425-NHS, a long-lifetime label with a luminescence lifetime of 26 ns, a large Stokes' shift of 120 nm and high fundamental anisotropy was added. These properties make it perfectly suited for the determination of high molecular weight analytes in a fluorescence polarization immunoassay.
06/15/06 — SETA BioMedicals is now offering SeTau dyes, a new series of amine-reactive labels. These labels have high quantum yields and are highly photostable. They exhibit luminescent lifetimes in the range of 8 ns to 32 ns including high fundamental anisotropies (~0.4) making them perfectly suitable for homogeneous lifetime and polarization assays.
06/02/06 — Several hydrophobic, amine-reactive dyes Seta-700-mono-NHS, Square-650-mono-NHS and Square-685-mono-NHS for oligonucleotides, and lipids with absorption from 650 nm to 700 nm were added to our website.
03/15/06 — Two reactive, water-soluble quencher SQ-565-mono-NHS and SQ-750-di-NHS with absorption in the 500 — 600 nm and 600 — 800 nm range were added. They exhibit no residual fluorescence and are available as NHS esters for covalent labeling of molecular beacons, peptides and oligo probes for real-time PCR and FRET applications.
12/25/05 — Seta-635-B-NH-di-NHS was added to our product portfolio.
12/25/05 — The fluorescent label Seta-665-mono-NHS was added. This label has the same excitation and emission maxima as Cy5.5TM but exhibit a much higher quantum yield (QY) of up to 50% when bound to proteins. In addition the new label is more photostable than Cy5.5TM.
