Functionalized luminescent beads are an area of increasing commercial activity due to the beneficial properties associated with these beads. A variety of techniques have been developed to produce beads with specific functional groups. Molecules with reactive amino or carboxyl groups can be coupled to proteins or other bioanalytes using solid supports such as polystyrene (PS)-beads.
The fluorescent dyes in the above table are well suited for single and multiple encoding of nano- and micro-size particles. We have many years of experience working with various types of fluorescent particles and we would be very interested to work with you to help you develop your specifically encoded particles. Please contact us at support@setabiomedicals.com or 217 417 2160 for more information.
