Non-fluorescent, hydrophobic quencher probe
Efficient energy transfer acceptor for quenching of the emission of natural fluorophores such as tryptophan (348 nm), tyrosine (303 nm) and phenylalanine (282 nm) in proteins and peptides. Acceptor also for organic dyes e.g. (FAM, TET, JOE, TAM etc) in RET applications.
