First squaraine rotaxane with Alexa 555 and Cy3 emission wavelength but much superior properties!

We invite you to look at SeTau-500-NHS (Φ = 0.43,  ε = 59,600 M^-1cm^-1 and Φ∙ε = 25,628 M^-1cm^-1), our latest addition to our rotaxane portfolio with an absorption at 500 nm and an emission at 560 nm, close to Cy3 or Alexa-555, but with a quantum yield several times higher than Cy3 (Φ = 0.1,  ε = 162,000 M^-1cm^-1 and Φ∙ε = 16,200 M^-1cm^-1) or Alexa 555 (Φ = 0.1,  ε = 152,000 M^-1cm^-1 and Φ∙ε = 15,200 M^-1cm^-1). It also shows a lower quenching tendency when conjugated to biomolecules and features an exceptionally large Stokes' shift of 60 nm, which can help to enhance the sensitivity of measurements by enabling the use of broader filter sets!
